The vision of Umsunguli Project Management is to provide professional project management and civil engineering consulting services to client bodies and communities within the construction, building and development industry. These services will be provided to improve living conditions, uplift communities and encourage growth in our country.

Our Economic Empowerment Policy
Economic empowerment in South Africa is seriously challenged, with the unemployment rate standing at 29.1% (Q3 of 2019). Small businesses and entrepreneurs have the capacity and means to reduce this rate.
To address unemployment, the focus should not be on Black Economic Empowerment, but rather on Economic Empowerment—providing each person, regardless of race, gender, or religious orientation, the opportunity to create work through sound economic principles.
UPM, established in 2009, celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019 and has grown exponentially, with a specific focus on creating employment opportunities for those who are unable to find work in society. To this extent, the company has employed a total of 16 staff members during this period, and except for the founder, Mr. Jannie Cronje, all other employees were previously unemployed or retrenched. The company has therefore never employed staff sourced from other firms, but has instead created work opportunities for a variety of individuals who were unemployed at the time.
This has cut across all gender and race barriers, employing three staff members who were recently retrenched, including qualified engineers and technicians.
